Prevention and Youth Services/Drug Education Center (PAYS/DEC)

    The specific high risk populations PAYS/DEC services targeted this past year were:
      • Children of Substance Abusershome-page
      • Violent/Delinquent Youth
      • Economically Disadvantaged
      • Runaway and Homeless Youth
      • People Using Substances
      • People with Disabilities
      • People with Mental Health Problems
      • Pregnant Teens
      • School Dropouts


      ♦Prevention and Youth Services (PAYS) is funded through the Saginaw County Department of Public Health Treatment and Prevention Services (TAPS).

       ♦Drug Education Center (DEC) Comprehensive substance abuse services and intervention to Innerlink clients was the primary service of the Drug Education Center staff this year.

        ♦ United Way funds the program that serves runaways, as one of the highest risk populations for substance abuse.
